چکیده

Introduction: Cardiomyopathy is the disorder of heart muscles which can be dilated, hypertrophic or restrictive type. Dilated cardiomyopathy caused by genetic and non-genetic causes but many are still not known. Echocardiography an important imaging technique to diagnose manage dilated cardiomyopathy.
Aims: This study aims assess clinical echocardiographic findings among patients with Methods: a cross-sectional, observational conducted in Nepalgunj Medical College from January 2021 June 2021. A total 61 were enrolled after obtaining written informed consent. Clinical examination recorded data analysis was done using Statistical Package for Social Sciences.
Results: The participants included 31 men 30 women cardiomyopathy. mean age 58.49 + 15.46 years. most common complaint shortness breath 84.5% presentation bilateral basal crepitation 98.4%. mostly had diastolic left ventricle internal diameter 5.5-6 cm ejection fraction 21-30%. Mitral regurgitation observed 58(95.1%) patients.
Conclusion: concludes that presentation. Left dilation, reduced mitral seen majority patients.

hormonal profile in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy

conclusions the hormonal levels were low in patients with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy. however, the prognostic significance of different hormonal deficiencies was not clear in our study populations who were receiving standard therapies for heart failure and had a relatively stable clinical condition. results except for testosterone level, the levels of gh, igf-1, t3, and t4 concentrations...

Echocardiographic predictors of adverse clinical events in children with dilated cardiomyopathy: a prospective clinical study.

OBJECTIVES To compare tissue Doppler (TD) velocities between patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and normal controls and to determine whether TD velocities, Tei index, right ventricular fractional area change, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) predict adverse clinical outcomes in children with DCM. METHODS Prospective evaluation of children with DCM. RESULTS 54 children w...

Echocardiographic evaluation of diastolic parameters in dogs with dilated cardiomyopathy.

Echocardiography is a valuable tool for the evaluation of systolic and diastolic cardiac function. A high correlation between measurements of diastolic mitral inflow parameters analyzed with Doppler echocardiography and invasive methods makes the former valuable. The aim of this study was to ascertain if significant differences occur in diastolic myocardial parameters between dogs with no heart...

An Etiological Study of Dilated Cardiomyopathy in Correlation with Clinical, ECG And Echocardiographic Profile

Cardiomyopathy is a primary disorder of the heart muscle that causes abnormal myocardial performance and is not the result of disease or dysfunction of other cardiac structures. Dilated cardiomyopathy is the most common variety of cardiomyopathy. Other types of cardiomyopathy are hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathy. Dilated cardiomyopathy represents the final common pathway produced by ...

Clinical predictors of outcome in patients with inflammatory dilated cardiomyopathy

OBJECTIVES The study objectives were to identify predictors of outcome in patients with inflammatory dilated cardiomyopathy (DCMi). METHODS From 2004 to 2008, 55 patients with biopsy-proven DCMi were identified and followed up for 58.2±19.8 months. Predictors of outcome were identified in a multivariable analysis with a Cox proportional hazards analysis. The primary endpoint was a composite o...
